little treasures I hold in the palm of my hand

I am home. with a renewed sense of identity, curly hair and a deeper love for my family. and little treasures I hold in the palm of my hand. the smell of rosemary and fresh lavender, new Converse shoes, fond memories. and the sparkle in the eyes of Sean and Will's grandparents.

I am home. and you know how this is. everything looks the same. yet everything feels different.

Welcome back! It sounds like the perfect trip, accomplishing what we always hope a trip will but that so rarely happens.

How wonderful and the link is beautifully written... I wish my boys had grandparents... alas, my husband no longer talks to his parents, and my 81 year old mother in NY just sends a check every once in a while. No link there. I'm glad you had such a nice trip.

these photos are simply beautiful.

oh yes, i've had those experiences. everything on the outside is the same, it doesn't look any different than it did when i left, but inside, inside me, everything has changed and i'm not who i was before.

glad to have you home...

How wonderful to be home, and for things to have that sheen of something different and good - renewal is such a gift. It does feel like the world is brand new. I adore your new banner, SO CUTE.

That tends to happen when one has been on a life-changing adventure. :) Isn't it remarkable how we can return 'home' to find everything looks the same...when we're positive that our inside self looks so very different? Hope you had a fabulous trip. xoxo
