far away love

farawaylove.jpg

I know I should be used to it now. that it should almost feel perfunctory, like a ritual that is getting too old. his black travel bag. his frequent business trips. but I woke up this morning brimming with emotion, and I thought God, please, help me get through this. I miss him. I miss him so much, I reflected, and the unbidden thought made me feel like weeping.

Absence. I'm always more thoughtful in my husband's absence.

Beautiful sentiment here.

My love Thursday is about play. http://kellycurtis.blogspot.com/2006/09/love-thursday.html

I always miss mine more than I think I am going to. But that emotion of missing him reminds me that the love is there.

Sweetie! I'm so sorry. I know that must be hard. Guy is going on a "mancation" soon and I can't even think about it without getting pouty. :(

Here's my Love Thursday:

It's hard, isn't it? I think it gets easier as the kids get older. Hang in. I'm up:

Just wanted to check out your blog, I've noticed you haven't been on Kimchi Mamas lately?

I also hate it when my husband has to travel for work, whether it's for a day in another state or for a week in another country. Not just because it's hard to take care of the baby alone, but because I miss knowing he's going to come through the door at night, and sit and talk with me at the table and be with me.

His next trip however, is going to be in your hometown - and we get to come with! I'm very, very excited. I want to have my baby's portrait drawn by one of those artists by the Seine.

Irene.. My heart feels your pain. I know what it's like, but you seem to go through it more than I do.
((hugs)).

I'm sorry you have to be alone so much. I know it's difficult to be a single parent so often. I'm thinking good thoughts for you.

you are a wonderful photographer and your family is beautiful.

i can relate to you, too. my husband goes on location a lot, and when he is home and working the days are always over 14 hours. the exchange is that we get lots of time with him when projects end.

hang in there. enjoy the love.

I can't really imagine separation from my sweet beau; as our whole relationship has been conducted whilst still in school. Sure, a few short jaunts now and then, but nothing big. It's got to be really hard.

If only I lived in Paris, how I would pack up a bag and come be your wing woman! :)
